Car park project

Car park Project

Why a car park is needed?

Currently our church car park is able to support a maximum of 13 cars.  Believe it or not Sundays are not a problem to us regarding parking.  During the week, Christ Church is a very busy place, often hosting three or four events each day. Many of these events support the life of our wider community, and the wider church. Our premises host clinics for the NHS, a range of groups for children, the retired and we are a base for training and learning for those with vocations to ministry in the church.

With the lack of local parking from Monday to Friday and the high numbers of people who commute to work in Warley, weekday car parking spaces are at a premium – and unfortunately it has now become common for people to be turned away from daytime events because our car park is gridlocked.

On a deanery level – there are very few churches in the Brentwood area which can offer parking for events and special services. It is hoped that by having increased parking facilities we may be able to become an asset to the deanery and to the wider church due to our proximity to Junction 28 of the M25.

How to give

The Church Car Park project “season of giving” will continue for a few more weeks.
If you would like further information please talk with Andrew Wood or John Kettlewell who are managing the project or with Brendon or Mark, our Churchwardens.
One way to give is via the link below to our ‘my donate’ page:…/christchurchwarleybrentwood

Alternatively, there are green gift aid envelopes available in Church for you to use. We are happy to accept cash donations or by way of cheque payable to Christ Church Warley PCC and accompanied with a Gift Aid declaration – If you are a UK tax payer this means your gift will increase thanks to the church reclaiming tax paid.
We still have quite a way to go to meet our target of £80,000
Thank you so much for supporting this project.
